HukariAscendent has supported the Idaho Cleanup Project (ICP) and Advanced Waste Treatment Project (AMWTP) since 2006.  At this time the Idaho Site mission was divided into three contracts:  the ICP, the AMWTP, and the Idaho National Laboratory (INL).

In February 2016, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) awarded the ICP Core Contract to Fluor Idaho, LLC, for the performance of ongoing AMWTP and ICP work scopes in support of the DOE Office of Environmental Management’s cleanup mission at the Idaho Site.  Management of the INL remains a separate contract.

The value of the Fluor Idaho, LLC contract is $1.4 billion (including options), and the contract term is five years.  The scope of work includes: stabilizing and storage of spent nuclear fuel and high-level waste; dispositioning transuranic waste; retrieving targeted buried waste; closing the Idaho Nuclear Technology and Engineering Center (INTEC) tank farm; maintaining Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) remedial actions; and operating and maintaining the INTEC, Radioactive Waste Management Complex (RWMC), and the Radioactive Scrap and Waste Facility (RSWF) facility infrastructure.

HukariAscendent has provided administrative, professional and technical support services to the ICP and AMWTP since 2005.  In 2016, HukariAscendent signed a Mentor Protégé Agreement with Flour Idaho, LLC.  We have provided support in the following areas:
