Dr. Patrick Longmire joined the HukariAscendent team in May, and he provides subject matter expertise in environmental aqueous geochemistry to Newport Nuclear News BWXT (N3B) and Department of Energy (DOE)-Environmental Management-Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA), Los Alamos, New Mexico. His primary technical focus is on the fate and transport and remediation of the hexavalent chromium groundwater plume at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

Dr Longmire earned his MS and Doctorate in aqueous geochemistry from the University of New Mexico and has 46 years of diverse experience. Dr. Longmire teaches short courses on environmental aqueous geochemistry focusing groundwater background, inorganic-metal contamination of aquifer systems, and fate and transport of PFAS. His hobbies include, bike riding, walking, and performing acoustic gypsy jazz and big band music.
